I am a multilingual, Emmy Award–winning visual media professional with more than 15 years of experience using storytelling to connect communities, amplify underrepresented voices, and create social impact. I hold a BA in Communication Studies and am currently pursuing an MS Ed. in Counseling, driven by a commitment to empathy, personal growth, and service. As an immigrant from Michoacan, Mexico, raised in Guanajuato, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring lived experience and professional expertise to my work. I am committed to equity, advocacy, and inclusive representation, using storytelling, community engagement, and counseling to inspire and empower others.
