Take Back the Night is an annual march through campus to empower survivors and advocate for an end to sexual violence. Take Back the Night started as a protest in March of 1972, when women began marching on their campuses together in an organized and intentional manner, demanding a less violent future. At Sac State, ALL members of the campus community are invited to march each year to show support for survivors of sexual violence, to encourage bystander intervention, and to take a stand for a safe and empowered campus.
