Hi Biz Bees!
The University of California’s Summer Institute for Emerging Managers and Leaders (SIEML) program is receiving applications from sophomores and juniors interested in graduate business education.
SIEML is a UC-wide initiative that provides a free business and leadership bootcamp for sophomores and juniors from HBCUs (Historically Black College and Universities) and HSIs (Hispanic Serving Institutions). This year, they will be sending selected student leaders for an all-expense paid week and a half to UC San Diego. Programming takes place May 20-May 30.
Students who successfully complete SIEML will receive up to two years of full fee and tuition fellowships if they are admitted into a UC graduate master’s business program (including MBA, business analytics, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, and financial engineering). Any SIEML alumni admitted to a Ph.D. program at a UC business school will receive a competitive funding/support package to facilitate degree completion.
The deadline to apply for the program is Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
The program is hosting information sessions with program leadership and alumni next Tuesday at 9 a.m. PT and Wednesday at 4 p.m. PT.
