Mission
The purpose of this organization is to further the application of mathematics to industry and science; To promote basic research in mathematics leading to new methods and techniques useful to industry and science; To provide media for the exchange of information and ideas between mathematicians and other technical and scientific personnel. Purposes of the Chapter shall be consistent with the objectives of SIAM. To provide opportunities for student forums and presentations. To promote interdisciplinary collaboration and interaction among students from applied mathematics, engineering, economics, and other related fields. To promote networking events to discuss career opportunities in applied mathematics
