The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is to Increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who succeed professionally and positively impact the community. All students, regardless of sex, race, color, or national origin, who are interested in the club’s mission are welcome.

The National Society of Black Engineers at Sacramento State supports sending a cohort of student engineers to Region VI’s Fall Regional Conference (FRC) in Oakland. FRC is the West Coast’s largest annual NSBE gathering and a key pipeline event where Black engineering students meet recruiters, practice leadership, compete technically, and receive targeted professional development.
