Mission
The purpose of this organization is to bring an opportunity for pre-health students at Sacramento State to get involved in leadership positions, learn about possible opportunities in the health professions that include medicine, nursing, physician assistants. Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) represent minority undergraduate student at Sacramento State that will bring diversity into health care professions. Our meetings provide opportunities for these students to get involved in volunteer and clinical service in the community. We also provide mentorship and an ability to network with people in the healthcare field. Our purpose is to help our members to achieve their goals and help them grow their grit.

All students, regardless of sex, race, color, or national origin, who are interested in the club’s mission are welcome.
