Collegiate Women’s basketball program powered by Sacramento State , predominately with Native American, and or indigenous background student athletes. Enriching the underrepresented population of Minority and Native American population through competitive athletics and academics.
Mission Statement:
The California Tribal Athletics (CTA) aims to provide a space for student athletes @ Sac State to compete for championships, pursue athletic and academic excellence, and ultimately connect with their peers as allies or own identity as Native American , and understand what it means to be Native in today's society.
Basketball Logistics:
Lady Eagles schedule consist of NAIA and D2-D3 level schools, while playing in the independent conference “Southwestern State Conference” based in California , Arizona , & New Mexico. Aiming to compete for a conference championship and connect with the greater native community
