Mission
The purpose of this organization is to explore the possibilities of reinforced concrete structures and to provide students with the opportunity to apply their in-class knowledge directly with industry through the design, fabrication, and construction of a pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete beam. The "Big Beam" competition is hosted on a national level and allows students an amazing opportunity to showcase their knowledge, teamwork skills, structural engineering, and construction management talents. Additionally, as a returning member/officer to the club, be given the opportunity to attend the PCI National Convention hosted annually with the possibility to compete in Project Precast.
